Non stop comedy...whole audience laughing the entire film.

Watched Midnight in Paris last weekend. Enjoyed it. Owen Wilson reigns it in just enough, Michael Sheen is enjoyably pompous and 'know it all'y, and the settings (Paris in the 20s, late 19th century) make me want to go time traveling. 4 Hemingways out of 5.

I liked the strange tone and brutal nihilism of it and enjoy an abstract non-linear film now and then, the music and cinematography were excellent, it was unconventional and experimental film making and while I like a popcorn movie as much as the next man I like to see the art form being pushed, even if the results are challenging or less than wholly successful.

Also, I'm a bit of a connoisseur of bad movies, believe me mate, Valhalla Rising doesn't come close!

It's slow but it's horrifically dark and disturbing. Was on my own in the cinema and felt uncomfortably throughout with the eerie atmosphere. Not sure what is meant by nothing happened? There were no car chases or explosions if that's what was meant

Just watched Selma. Really liked it. Starting watching birdman but was dubbed in spanish and I was tired so turned it off

After the performance today couldn't be arsed with Match of the Day so watched this instead ( again ).

Kinin love this film to bits even though it's nothing like the book. Following the release of a man made virus that wiped out humanity, Will Smith is superb as the last man on earth besieged by nocturnal half human monsters . Would've been better using the original ending from the book, but still a great film.

9 monsters out of 10.

Thought I'd give Kingsman: Secret Service ago, but wished I hadn't. Probably need to be high to enjoy it. I really need to start vetting films before watching them.

Pompeii - amazed old Didley Scott's lawyers weren't all over this, Gladiator with a volcano, lines and whole scenes lifted from it, utter rubbish.

decent spy thriller with shades of psychology set in the late Iron Curtain era of East/West Berlin (also BRD-era Hannover) in the mid-80's. Hackers using Commodores!

Unsympathetic characters, but this perhaps adds to the realism (the film's a true-story bio of Karl Koch). Sometimes unengaging, but always interesting.
