Last Film You Watched

Watched a decent film on Saturday, Margin Call. Kevin Spacey, Jeremy Irons, Demi Moore. Really good portrayal of the sneaky shenanigans going on around the financial crisis, the conflict of egos and morals. I really enjoyed it.

Also rewatched District 9 on Friday. Still remains a truly incredible film.

Shaun The Sheep. I love Aardman animations so was looking forward to seeing it.

I thought it was pretty good but would've preferred dialogue rather than Mr Bean-esque grunts and murmurs!

Watched The Usual Suspects for the first time.

Kevin Spacey is ace, one of my favourite actors. However, you can see the ending come, but I guess it was a big deal in the 90's.

7,5/10

The Godfather Trilogy

Eh. Amazingly filmed but I got lost too many times to thoroughly enjoy it. Still pretty good though. Will definitely rewatch.

Will have just finished watching twelve monkeys in 25 minutes. Great film, my favourite Bruce Willis film infact.

On the watchlist...seen it once but that were almost 20 year ago. remember liking it.

seen it once and an instant 9/10! rare high score for me...would like to watch it again at some point.

aye...only seen it once and, much like The Game, probably loses some of its power on a rewatch.

finally started Lawrence of Arabia on the home cinema...a film i've wanted to see for decades...magnetic main character and lush landscapes! but my other half got bored and we had to put on Apollo 18 instead...ffs.

Cloud Atlas - the plot is about as clear as mud.

Before that I watched Hobbit 3. Apart from Billy Connolly's cameo, it was a poor excuse of a film that just served to underline the fact that the whole Hobbit trilogy is just Peter Jackson showing off and flexing his immense financial clout.

When it came out, no one saw that coming...

Give it enough time between viewings and it's fine. Also it's fun watching them back when you know the ending looking for all the clues you missed the first time.

Watched insides out last night.

To be honest, first disney film i have not enjoyed that much. Seemed more hell bent on sending a message rather than making an enjoyable film. On the back of Ralph frozen and big hero i set my expectations high but i just think they swung and miss with this one.

I mean one of the main characters is sadness! Sadness FFS! my other half spent her time in the film saying how much she disliked her for bringing the film down all the time.

Kids seem to enjoy it a little bit though

We saw Terminator Genysis last night. Another duff entry in the series. It's not the absolute stinker that the third one was, nor is it the dead eyed technical exercise of Salvation.
None of the sequels have captured the brutal nihilism or dark tone of that first film, nor made any real attempt to have a crack at the intriguing moral and philosophical future shock elements that the premise throws up.

The only thing that's come close was the TV series.

Can't even say I'm disappointed, wasn't expecting much. Can only hope J.K. Simmons took home a decent wedge. And the lad playing Reese... jeeezus h....

Pretty much summed it up perfectly there, poor acting, no chemistry, and the sex scenes were tame.
Plus i got dragged along when it first came out so i had to put up with the place being full of sex starved middle aged women shrieking and laughing like school girls

Poor sod.

A couple of months back I went to pick my daughter up from the cinema (the Stephen Hawkings film). As I was waiting for her, '50 shades was emptying out. I counted 1 man amongst 200 over-excited women.
