Find him somewhat overrated: The Orphanage was ok but Pacific Rim was awful. Is Pan's Labyrinth any good?
I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Creepy and enchanting at the same time.

Good comparisons, do check it out and take a few beers for companyNice...i really enjoyed Pinocchio, Wall-E and Watership Down...examples of family-orientated animation films which offer a lot of deeper meaning for discerning older viewers. Inside Out sounds of a similar ilk.
2 consecutive 8 hour flights and a lot of beer can do that alrightI think maybe you've looked a bit too deep!
Watched Crimson Peak the other night.
A little bit spooky but not enough for me.
Gorgeous to look at (in true Guillermo del Toro style) but definitely lacking when it came to the story - in my opinion.
cheers, i'll give it a whirl after all

Also watched Finding Nemo and Jurassic World but they didn't have the same effect!
Nightcrawler, very good but hated the main character Jake.
B+
The Gauntlet (1977) I had fond memories of this one. Watching this again, I'd have to say, what were they smoking? The actions within this film are so time worn you'd be locked up for suggesting such a film today. Within minutes Eastwood is drink driving and giving a woman a good smack in the mouth. Followed by card board cut out character after card board cut out character and insanely nonsensical plot which basically involves throwing thousands of police at strategic plot points with more ammunition than sense. Eastwood's worst film in his darkest period? Probably.
Terminator Genysis (2015) Horrifying. That you'd give Jai Courtney and Jason Clarke lead billing in anything has me baffled. And the plot. I don't understand it at all in the context of the other films. They've Highlander'd this franchise hard.
You were right to, but that's exactly what made him brilliant, Gylenhall really knocked me out with his performance in this.
What have I seen lately...

Man. Not seen Nemo for ages.
Apparently, that was the original title
