Everything you'd expect from a David Cronenberg, plus Debbie Harry gets her kit off quite a bit, which isn't a good as it sounds.

Ah, what a film. That and his version of The Fly got me into so many films.

Got inside and needed the toilet but the movie came on...so didnt want to get up as i had been looking forward to this since the last bond movie...

Anyway...the intro scene was half hearted....and then the credits and theme tune were absolutlely boring and could have sent me and the girlfriend to sleep.

It never recovered....

ah bollox...oh well, i promised a mate now i'd tag along as he was gonna watch it on his own. i'll go in with low expectations...

They always manage to proper eff-up Bond after the first 3 films or so: Brosnan's 4th Bond was a disaster.

Shane Meadows films are very gritty and " British " mate.

If you've never seen one before have a look for - Dead Mans Shoes.

An incredible film considering the miniscule budget. The ending is incredibly powerful and sad. It'll stay with you for quite a while afterwards, so I'd advise watching it alone. Paddy Considine gives an incredible performance in the lead.
