Just watched Moneyball.
I don't know much about baseball, i know the rules from playing computer games but i couldn't name any modern day players in fact i only know babe ruth n barry bonds. Its a sport any fat old crock can play if they can throw a ball or hit a ball, i'l probably get abuse for saying that from americans on here but thats my opinion.
The principles of what Oakland Athletics tried to do and was succesfully copied by the red sox was very interesting though and should have stato's on here creaming, i know a lot of you like your figures and percentages.
In theory its spot on but could only work in the franchise/rosta system rather than footballs transfer market. Its a good indicator that in a sport where athleticism isn't really a must that stats and analytics work an d prove that the biggest budget doesn't always make the best team.
Overall I enjoyed the film it was very interesting even for a none baseball fan. I give it a 8/10
