Spectre... liked it, didn't love it. Better Bond film than Skyfall, but Skyfall was a better film. Spectre is the Bond film with the least amount of suspense.
Saw 'Bridge of Spies' last night. Very good indeed. Hanks in another very strong film - he always us, if you ask me.
Oh, and the Star Wars trailer was outstanding in full cinematic effect. I had a hard-on for the rest of the night.
Seven.
Been meaning to revisit this for a while. Didn't rate it at all when it came out, but I still had the hump with David Fincher over Alien 3. Since then he's made one of my favourite films ever in Zodiac, and after learning about the mess he was handed and the BS he put up with making Alien 3, I've got a lot a lot more respect for him as a director.
Sadly I think my instincts were right on this. It's little more than a succession of elaborate set designs tied together with unlikely plot points, buzzed around by a tweaking Brad Pitt and leading to an ending that feels like a desperate attempt at a final shocker more than a truly crafted conclusion.
It's real value remains Morgan Freeman being magnificent throughout, but still, for me, this is one the most overrated films I've ever seen.

Interstellar – 9/10
Truly incredible film
What was the argument about mate? This film caused a major arguement with me and my dad.
I don't think it's overrated at all though. Great film.
What was the argument about mate?
Only a jokey one.
But he said that Pitt (can't remember the characters names) shouldn't have killed Spacey at the end, as it meant that he won. He got all Se7en and so got what he wanted.
I always thought that in that particular situation, you've just found your birds head in a box, you've just found out she was up the duff, have a gun in your hand and the bloke who did it in front of you, you're gonna kill him. Human nature almost in the heat of that particlar moment.
