Only a jokey one.

But he said that Pitt (can't remember the characters names) shouldn't have killed Spacey at the end, as it meant that he won. He got all Se7en and so got what he wanted.
I always thought that in that particular situation, you've just found your birds head in a box, you've just found out she was up the duff, have a gun in your hand and the bloke who did it in front of you, you're gonna kill him. Human nature almost in the heat of that particlar moment.
Yep. No way you're not gonna ice the guy.

Gone Girl

Don't bother. Not even close to being in the same ball park as Seven or Fight Club.

Well that's kinda the point?? :o There might be an argument to be had if it wasn't for the unborn child bit...

Sort of. But the movie is about the 7 deadly sins. It was always going down to the 7th one. Whether successful or not.

A few days off so watched 3 films

The Firm - as ever 80 Footy Hooligan films are pretty poor but always good to go down memory lane in fashion, music and how football was

Bronx Tale - one of my favourite films and never lets me down

Blackmass - superb film, always better when based on true events..

Was searching sky the other day for that Senna film, but you have to pay for it now, so ended up watching Seve, about the Spanish golfer. It's part documentary. Was good.

Jupiter Ascending. Watching it made me think of that odd beatific feeling you get as you faint, followed by the slight disorientation and nausea afterwards. The delightful Gugu Mbatha-Raw is in it, playing some kind of evil half-deer PA.

ähm...so was it any good then?

just sat through Hunger Games...very typical hollywood fare: full of cliche predictable moments, no real tension, amateurish shaky camera, Donald Sutherland looking bored, daft plot which has already been done by Rik Mayall, Schwarzenegger, Doctor Who and others. On the plus side i still sort of enjoyed most of it, not sure why exactly. 5/10 bang-average is probably fair.

I guess i have to watch the 2nd & 3rd part now, as fräulein wants to watch the finale at the cinema.
