I watched Mulholland Drive earlier tonight......first time I have watched it since its cinema release round about the turn of the century.

I still don't know what the heck was going on but it is one of the best movies I have ever seen.

watched Solace, Anthony Hopkins film serial killer hunt with a bit of a twist, started off a bit slow then got decent, enjoyed it.
Had a look at Legends, The Krays film not as bad as some people were making out, but nothing new to the story that has been done to death.

I love that film. Took me two watches before i understood it.

Last two films. The Imitation Game & Whiplash.

Just back from seeing The Big Short and WOW !!
You need to be sober and concentrate, but it's a terrific movie about the financial crisis of 2008.

Handsomely made and well acted portrait of Jackie Robinson. Bit safe, but successfully conveys the times and the colossal impact he had on US sports and culture. Chadwick Boseman is really good, not quite up there with his fantastic portrayal of JB in 'Get on up', and Harrison Ford & Nicole Beharie lead a strong support.

Recommended. Good film, and Ms Beharie is all kinds of foxy:

The remake copy of that whale film without captain Ahab forgot the title as the acting was as wooden as the boats in it!

True Story - James Franco Jonah Hill, great story, really suspenseful, easy to get lots in lost in the plot for a couple of hours. Highly Recommended

Cinderella

It was alright. Obviously not my type of film but it done the story well, not overly long and nothing was drawn out either.
