Heavenly Creatures

Peter Jackson's first non B-movie film, still had a lot of his splatter influences though with regards to camera angles which enhanced the film. A true story about an obsessive friendship between two girl with leads to tragedy, Kate Winslet's fist film too, she is excellent in it. Loved how it flicked between real life and what is in their heads, again influence to his earlier films. Brilliant.

Wish Jackson stayed with these kind of films/special effects tbh.

Compliance. I only sky plussed it because I remember it being on a list of the most disturbing movies. Watched half of it then gave up. Then I read it was a true story and it wasn't exaggerated and seen it in a different light. Watched the rest and it's definitely one of those movies that makes you think. Mainly that people are stupid.

Yeah, pretty hard to believe its a true story.

Felt it lost its way slightly in the middle but overall i thought it was great.

Hail Caesar - Coen Bros homage to the old days of Hollywood, with George Clooney, Tilda Swinton, Scarlett Johansson, Ralph Fiennes, etc. Odd but fun - if you liked O Brother Where Art Thou and Grand Budapest Hotel you will probably like this as well.

Deadpool - really enjoyed the he first half but failed to kick on for me so only 8/10

Triple 9 - really enjoyed, thought it was better than sacario 9/10

How to be single - pile of turd that showed single ppl in a miserable light 3/10 but only cos I am in love with Leslie mann

....watched Room last night, thought it might be a real story but regardless it was a good concept. A bit far fetched in a couple of points but it was a decent film.
