I haven't seen any comic book films (apart from a few Batman's), but I may watch Deadpool as I liked Kick Ass.

I watched "scouts guide to the zombie apocalypse" last night, it was funny in parts, but lacked direction at times. then watched the new Peter Pan film called "Pan" it was OK, like an origin story for Peter Pan and Captain Hook, it kind of stepped all over the original story though, but was a fun family sort of film.

Watched Trumbo, good story. Cranston is very good in it.

Really like the way they did this movie, slow, calm, let the story speak for itself. It's just scary and depressing that things like this are probably still happening all around. Makes you feel sick doesn't it?

Hahaha i just wonder why an actor would even want to play two parts like this...not like Bale for example who was Batman or Christopher Reeve who was Superman....

Think if this deadpool wasnt a comic book and just a standalone movie the ratings would be solely based on movie quality and it would bomb. Also read Ryan Reynolds took a sick kid to watch it and donated to his cause....really fantastic BUT the movie is no way suitable for kids with so much swearing.

Half way through Madoff. Its a movie but split into 4 parts and moe of a Bmovie....quite a relaxing watch so far but no new details of the ponzi.

Getting very good reviews but is it a thriller/drama / investigative piece? Not sure i fancy watching about catholic priests doing these things...

I didnt watch that award winning movie last year with the transvestites for the same reason...

It's no thriller, probably more a investigative piece, yeah. They don't show ugly scenes, it's mostly the dialogue. I'd really recommend it mate.

Seen Spotlight the other week and it's a fantastic film - 9/10. Should win best film at the Oscars but have a feeling The Revenant will get it.

Seen the trailer for Batman vs Superman before and it looks absolutely awful!

Just watched "I Believe in Miracles", the story of Cloughie and the Forest championship/European Cup Winnings teams - terrific memories.
Probably, no definitely the one and only time I've ever wanted another British club to win in Europe.
The player recollections are interesting and amusing, and some of the Clough clips are vintage popcorning of the media.

Another film ticked off the 'Oh... The Humanity!!' hit list, gerrin!

This 1989 Marvel adaptation is rightly recognised as a properly bad flick and as such is a cracking watch. Celebrity Evertonian Dolph Lundgren skulks around like a death-dealing Elvis, Louis Gossett wisecracks and Jerone Krabbe is a hammy bleached denim jacketed villain.
With Ninjas, schmaltzy kids in a violent movie, big hair and terrible, terrible acting this is a quintessential 80s anti-action hero ass kicker. Great fun. Seen this @ijjysmith?
