Any seen Sully? sounds like it plays out a lot like 'Flight'?

Saw this last weekend and enjoyed it a lot. I haven't seen Flight so can't compare. Two small criticisms are that the real event took such a short time to unfold that Eastwood didn't have enough actual tension to fill a whole movie so it felt as though he more or less invented tension via the investigation. Tom Hanks is apparently continuing his quest to play every heroic American male based on a true story ever made!

bullhead - really recommend this...

A steroid-fueled cattle farmer finds that his decision to do business with the Belgian cattle-hormone mafia could have potentially deadly consequences in this brooding Belgian crime drama that was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the 2012 Academy Awards. Jacky Vanmarsenille (Matthias Schoenaerts) makes the biggest mistake of his life when he goes into business with a nefarious meat trader with mob ties. After hearing that a federal agent was murdered while investigating the underworld meat trade and crossing paths with a woman he thought he would never see again, Jacky realizes that his only hope is to delve headlong back into his harrowing past. First-time feature filmmaker Michael R. Roskam directed from his own script.

Sounds like a fantastic date movie lol

I find Hanks to be incredibly boring...

He can be mate! I'd like to see him play a villain now and again just for a change of pace.

I think he just plays himself which for some reason has the americans considering him a national treasure...i mean compared to Pacino he's a b-lister.

Our own Christian Bale and Tom Hardy, to just name two, are far superior.

He perfectly fits a very common character role. He'd be a rubbish villain because a) no-one would really give him a chance and b) he's just not villain material.

Similarly, De Niro is garbage at playing comedy or light-hearted roles.

Ha ha I went to watch monster on a date years ago. During the brutal rape scene I felt so awkward I started laughing. She looked at me and I laughed more to show that I wasnt laughing at the film. Clearly she had no idea I was laughing at the absurdity of being on a first date watching those images together and thought I was a psycho

Should have done the old yawn trick and slipped your arm around her.
