Last Film You Watched

Melancholia.

It's left me with a strange mix of thoughts and feelings — some bad, most good — but I can say it was wholly unique. That's a rarity.

you have not seen Drive???
after seeing him in this....you deffo would!!

Best film of 2011 by miles.

Excuse the boss pun.

Ive got that on my "to watch" list

It's very slow paced with subtle acting and no real action bar at the start and the end... which are the same, kind of.

I'd just say be patient. Bear in mind the fact that the world is about to end when you watch the characters and know that by the end of the film it will be worth it!

What's that Meloncholia about?

Nope not seen drive. Seen a lot of people talking about it. It's in my to watch pile.
As is Iron Sky just for the stupidness.

It's about the end of the world and how people react to the knowledge of their fate — specifically the already-depressed, who in this film are melancholic.

Just don't expect any nukes, riots or presidents with catch 22 conundrums. It's not that kind of film!

Two sisters find their already strained relationship challenged as a mysterious new planet threatens to collide with the Earth.

its got a lot of good reviews.

Deservingly so. It's sometimes too slow and a bit long mind, but I think the director wanted a strong sense of foreboding.

Oh and artsy stuff aside, you get to see Kirsten Dunst's glorious baps.
