I've read elsewhere that the deal is dead with the Americans, can't say I'm surprised or disappointed, they look like asset strippers and I imagine some of our financial arrangements would make anyone with an eye on making a fast buck run a mile.
Wasn't the initial time line for the end of Jan, early Feb. Why all this on/ off talk now?
Would need someone new to come in for arsenal. Kroenke is the majority shareholder and is privately funding the majority of a $2bn stadium for his NFL team he just relocated to LA. Can't see him having the money to buy up that guys 15%. Of course with arsenals sustained success making CL and new owner it probably wouldn't be hard to find takers
Wouldn't be so quick to dismiss it. The chance to have full control of a club potentially as big as Arsenal with investment.
Goodnight John-boyKroenke's wife is a Walton, he's not short on cash
now if only she was from Walton eh?!Kroenke's wife is a Walton, he's not short on cash

Wouldn't that be "she's not short of cash"...
Boredom mostly.Wasn't the initial time line for the end of Jan, early Feb. Why all this on/ off talk now?
Agreed mate, was just speculating. Usmanov wants to own/control a club and has been blackballed by the American at Arsenal for years now. Kenwright's big mates with David Dein who still has huge contact with Arsenal. What's stopping the idea of buying Everton being floated in front of this character apart from this board's utter inertia/apathy....Wouldn't be so quick to dismiss it. The chance to have full control of a club potentially as big as Arsenal with investment.
We are not that lucky to get a billionaire who wants to make us the best in Europe,we unfortunately missed that opportunity when Kenwright pulled the rug from Sheikh Mansour's attempt to buy us
