Time will tell but, sadly, I can't help with broadly agree with that. If a sale happens, and it ends up being a good thing for the club, then that'll be great, but I doubt it's the main driver for any sale.
But if any club...we will try to make sure that our ways are clear as glass to new owners....you know what I mean. Roberto said it him self "board will make sure that new owners will know what we're about and what we appreciate " or something like that

I don't even trust that outcome is on the current owners objectives. They will primarily be looking to maximise their share sale value. How the club and it's fans fare afterwards is of no concern to them other than in the minds of their minions posting on social media.

I cant believe that. Bill and Co. have been saying for 16 years they wouldn't sell to anyone who'd exploit the club and not bring it to the next level.

Mate, it doesn't work like it does in the states. You can't just pack up and move, it wouldn't work. You would lose easily about 75% of the supporters who are responsible for a considerable portion of the club's revenue.
The FA wouldn't allow it either.

I don't think I entirely agree with that.
A new stadium in a new area would probably generate some new fans from there. They may be the new plastic fans of clubs like Chelsea and City , but their money is still good.
I think the overwhelming majority of Everton supporters will continue to support. They will bitch, moan and threaten but ultimately they will follow, within reason. At this stage of my life Everton is part of me and I can't imagine how I could rid myself of it.

The overwhelming majority of income is from TV and as long as Everton stay in the premiership that will continue .
A new stadium anywhere will offer opportunites to make additional monies that Goodison doesn't offer.
The new owners can only be better at generating income streams and increasing the fanbase worldwide.

I think Everton fans are locked into the notion of Goodison or surrounding areas, new owners just may not care about that for reasons mentioned above.

A rather naive assessment you have made my friend. Everton FC is the people, the location, the history. It can't be uprooted.

For what are you laughing at?

I can just imagine Bill spouting utter bolloxs at the 2 cowboys and them both ignoring every single word that comes out of his mouth.

Its very naive to assume that any new owners will care 1 jot for the traditions of the club they are taking over.

The only thing they will care about, just like the current board, is growing the business and maximizing profit.

So in short, they are the wrong owners? The traditions and values of this club and what it stands for is what makes it special and completely different from all other Premier League clubs. At least that's my opinion.

Not sure we will get the "right" owners Belgo mate.

I mean, for me, the right owners will be like City or Chelsea, just throwing money at players like confetti, im sure a lot of people dont want that, so what might be the right owners for me, wont be for you or him or them.

We will enter dangerous ground whoever buys us, so many different ways it can go, "careful what you wish for" will be a phrase I hope we dont hear.
