Could it be that as part of negotiations, the club and the Americans are waiting to find out the final details of the TV deal which is announced today or tomorrow (I stand to be corrected) ? Surely that could have a dramatic impact on sale price

The majority of rights deals were declared yesterday totalling £8.3 bn for 2016-19 which is pretty much were it was anticipated to be. I doubt that's caused any adjustment to any previous price negotiations.

Could be Purple Bricks looking to expand their client base......... Or maybe if anyone is interested in buying their place, rumours of another offer from elsewhere may make interested parties make their move earlier.

The fact is we don't choose EFC, the club chooses us. Now ownership just needs to do a better job of choosing more fans in big markets like the US who are just waiting to be tapped. Awareness in the US is growing about Everton, now imagine if ownership can throw gasoline on the spark and curiosity with some effective marketing and distribution.

This a thousand times. In other news, seems that the local Fanatics outfit has bought out Kitbag. Fanatics started out here in Jax as a mall store about 20 years ago, and has grown to do all the online marketing for all the US major sports leagues by now. Could be something, could be nothing, could be US distribution, not sure tbf. Just an FYI...
