We should be under no illusions about these americans. Could well be that they´re only here to skim off the TV-revenue year after year without actually putting any new investment into the organisation. Seems the likeliest imho.

This is what I have been saying however, the greatest value in our club lies in our club. A clever bit of business in the ground and brand could see us sold for huge amounts in 2-3 years.
The yanks would be wisest to invest in us as a product surely.

Its in no-ones interest to run us into the ground that's for sure, that does not mean its going to be a guaranteed success either though.

That is the business model this club has been using for years. Is it ok if the world's best ever Evertonian oversees it?

lol your not wrong there I suppose, was under an immense dosage of codeine and insomnia when I wrote the original post, I was just freaking out over the massive amounts of money coming in now that will alert the most calculating cold-eyed capitalists, where a quick turnover of ownership can reap massive profits, no need whatsoever to achieve anything on the pitch, your £200 million sale price can be clawed back practically in one season so even relegation is not a deterrent to minimal investment in the squad. Bill and co. are kind of old school when compared to the new breed, Martin Shkreli for instance....

If the Americans come in and rip the kit bag deal up, Get rid of suntan Bob and put plans in place for a stadium then they will immediately get the fans on their side. Alternatively they come in leave things as they are and start asset stripping players wise to recoup there outlay.

Thing is we haven't a clue what they intend to do.

Surely (if this speculation proves to be right) Moores has other plans than just sit in Kenwrights place. Kenwright wouldnt sell if Moores would continue the stagnation.

I think every Evertonian wants to believe this part is true.... sad reality is near everyone is sitting there with doubts.

So they're close to signing an agreement in principle. Is that right?

Maybe @The Esk can explain what this means.

Is it like a loan, you get the agreement sorted before actually signing the final deal?

If so that would add a fair bit of time onto it. Or not.
