Although it seems all concrete information and is a done deal I will still hold a reserve for doubt as we are Everton of course!
hopefully we do become a force again.

I only hope it's enough to convince Rom et al to stay at least one more year.
Add two top additions to the first team and we will be title challenging next year.

Don't think there's anything to be scared of. Uncertainty can also be exciting. These guys may load us with 'some' debt initially, but if there's a clear plan to reduce it, redevelop or build a new ground and start improving our sponsorship deals we'll be OK. I reckon at the least these guys have way more ambition and connections than the current board.

One of the most important people involved in the scenario about to unfold is Roberto Martinez. Martinez is more than a coach...he has an eye, and the qualifications, and the improving experience to run a football club from top to bottom. If new owners realise this, he could attain almost Wenger like status, with the americans staying largely in America(can't see a 71 year old doing too many trips across the pond). I have no doubt that Martinez has been discussed fully and probably talked with the new owners, and the Bill K, if his illness has allowed him to be involved personally, has asked for reassurances that the Martinesz long term project is allowed time and space to continue. We are already seeing that despite some hiccups, we are maybe on the verge of something great at Everton, and I can see that the worry is that new owners will interfere to the detriment of the project. Time will tell.

Just gonna buckle up and enjoy the ride...anyone who thinks it will be a straightforward 'good' of 'bad' move for us to be taken over hasn't been supporting us for very long....we do the unpredictable very well...and no matter how much we moan about it...we love it really :D

With regards to above, they want to grow their investment. So as long as it's going in the right direction on the pitch I can't see them meddling too much. Their first job will be improving our commercial infrastructure. The test is if Roberto isn't up to it. Getting the right guy to get us to the next level!

The first victim could well be Elstone.....
