Well were quite self sufficient recruitment wise now that the tv money is rolling in and about to increase again. Of course it wouldn't take any significant investment to increase sponsorship or commercial income and then next big to deal is only around the corner after this new mega one kicks in.

The clubs finances are about to increase even if they come in and sit on their hands so the value of the clubs about to increase even if they don't make any big decisions or take on any risks. That's got to be the most sensible way to make a profit from us.
There's no guarantee that any "follow on" deal after this next one will be a massive deal. It may be a big shock to the EPL and only be a fraction of what they would expect.

Given the recent trend there's been no signs of a reversal anytime soon. it's a product that's only getting more popular and the growth clubs recieve will be an even bigger attraction to the stellar players from around the world.

Who's to say the next owners won't just carry on running the business the same way? It's not exactly done the current owners any harm has it, looking at the prices being quoted for the sale in the media.

Surely their best way to make a fortune out of this club is buy it cheap, not invest any of your own money and sell it on.
If they're paying £200m they'll need to do something to get more money in the club, the current owners are making a profit because of how little they bought the shares for

It's sounding more and more like Hicks & Gillette Mach 3 tbh.

Why because it's not some soft Arab prince with an everton tatt and more money than sense? its unbelievable how people want rid of the board but can't wait to pick the bones out of any possible investors who arn't oligarchs.

Our fanbase deserve Billy bullshitter and Robert "the ghost" Earl. Let's just wait and see what the groups plans are first before judging them eh?

Judging them ? LOL

An observation is all.

An observation of what though mate? That's my point alot of people wetting their knickers over some baseball fans blog. Ignoring the fact that before the main bloke in the consortium's divorce, he invested money into the team and built them a new stadium. Then once his wife of 40 years filed for divorce he lost interest and sold up. He owned them for 17 years hardly a quick buck making merchant.

For all we know there could be billionaires in the consortium, football fans, evertonians etc. No one knows which is why we should wait and see what their plans are and who they are before wanting rid of probably our best chance in years of getting rid of the current leeches that own us.
