The Premier League need to know but other than that we've no right to know and most investors would not want their identity in the public domain.

We would only know if they chose to tell us or until the accounts published after they have acquired the club.

So, assuming the "takeover" occurs before 31st May then the 2015/16 accounts when published (at end of 2016) would show the new shareholdings and any capital invested or debt added to the club.

It would be a very strange PR decision not to provide some details at the time of the acquisition.

An ITK on another forum has said he has been told today the sale will go through, nothing has changed, and the Yanks are looking at either redeveloping Goodison or building a brand new stadium.

I would not even bother posting that on here, but the ITK has form and definitely has got a contact within the club.

Looks like it's just a matter of time, it's going to happen.
