Not sure they are mate. It is just that it feels that something is in the air, so any little titbit is bound to be seized on.
Fair enough! Just can't see that article being too accurate atm given the 6 week period moores, etc have even givrn. Who knows though

Not sure they are. They are just the first to break cover. If indeed they actually have.

They are in the box seat because they currently have the exclusive rights to examine our books. No-one else interested has these rights.

This is a bit more than showing an interest.

True. Dont know much about these processes, but other clubs takeovers seem to pop up out of the blue. Like I cant remember exclusive rights being given to City's owners for example. For all I know, 20 groups could have already looked at the books, said "No", and now we have this lot.

That being said, I dont bounce about other clubs forums much!

Well hes worth 3bn, compared to 500mx2
Hes 40ish, compared to 70+

He also was unhappy at owning 49% of 1860 Munich because he wanted full ownership to run the club 'his way'.

What way would that be? What vast experience of running a football club, or even a sporting entity, does someone from Jordan (that well known hotbed of sporting excellence) have?

Probably about as much as Qatar do of running a World Cup.

Enough cash, bring in folk who do

Part of that is great (Man City), but the terrifying thing is if they bring in the wrong people. I suppose that could be the same for any prospective owner.

I am an eternal optimist, and I honestly do not think that any prospective owner, (other than a complete ego maniac) would not have learnt from the disasters that have engulfed numerous clubs in the past.

The blueprint is, IMO, pretty straight forward. Retain all that is ace/works, inject cash, improve commercial revenues, work towards redevelopment/new ground. But slowly. Well, not snails pace, but not hell for leather.

And be realistic.

Jordan has no oil and there are no cheikhs there, i googled about this guy in Arabic, he went to Dubai 20 years ago to work as an employee in real estate, made all his fortune from it, Arabic media questioning how he managed to build this kind of a fortune
