Growth opportunity ;)
Sell 'em cheap. Ten quid max for adults and a quid for kids for the Cup game against Dagenham. Fill the ground and get people into the habit of going who'd overwise not bother.

It would be so ace if you were 100% spot on

Going to be really upset if they start knocking them out at a tenner when they've charged me 15.
I'll fume worse than Stoke post match!!!

Could you tell me what's good about it, please? Not saying you're wrong but I can't see how things are better.

They've spent hundreds of millions on dross, largely , and are mediocre.

I think they're doing a tremendous job off the pitch. Backed their management team financially, building assets and expansion, lending funds at 0% and even football wise they've recruited Klopp which has to be considered a coup.

Not sure what else you can expect from owners, the beauty for us is the footballing side of the business have proven excellent at blowing it all when the opportunity has been presented.

This is just gonna end with me being fleeced for more dough any time I wanna go the match isn't it, and we still won't win anything will we especially knowing our luck. That's all that happens though really isn't it if your not taken over by a billionaire as it's plaything. So unless that happens which would be fun but soul destroying I'm not expecting anything of any note to happen. Look at Arsenal fans, they've had one FA cup in ten years since their move to the Emirates whilst they have the highest ticket prices in football. I bet the real fans( ie not tourists) would rather have stayed where they were, most of these clubs have gone backwards since being bought out by Capitalists who are in it to line their own pockets at the end of the day, even UTD have gone backwards in terms of costs to the fans and being successful on the pitch compared to a few years ago. Be careful what you wish for I doubt it will end with success.

So you are content sticking with the status quo then are you?

No I'm happy for somebody else to be given a go TBH but I can't think of one example where it hasn't ended in price increases for the fans and these kind of people have brought success on any kind of scale. I think we'll stay also rans but it will cost fans more money. Excuse me for not getting excited about this.

Haha. Me too mate ! Maybe for the next home cup game though !

£15 isn't bad, but a tenner sounds much better when you're trying to flog seats for a game where a lot of squad players are likely to feature. The current board are obviously trying to maximise revenue for the game and look on it as a one off.

Who knows, maybe future owners will see it more as an opportunity to get people on their database with a view to selling them seats in a new stadium or a redeveloped Goodison, or just getting them to buy some merchandise once they're on the club's mailing list.

Or, even better, just want to see Blues in the ground !

Alan Brazil always used to take the piss out of him being a closet Kopite

To attempt to take the pee out of someone who is an Evertonian you would accuse him of being a Kopite.

Bit like you saying KEIOC hiring numerous planes to fly banners over GP was Kopite behaviour only to do an ar$£ about face and applaud the person recently of doing the same in support of Kenwright with it must be said the clubs support.

I agree with you mate. He's always gone on about finding suitable owners and personally think he wouldn't want his legacy to be finally tarnished by leaving us with some Cowboys. It's perfectly understandable why others disagree though and are wary. Guess we'll find out one way or another

It could work the opposite, if the next owners messed it up it would make Bill look like he actually done a decent job and not just being part of the most unsuccessful board in Everton's history.

Whether people want a take over or not is irrelevant, we NEED, investment its just 10 years too late but without a take over we are going nowhere,as for naming successful board changes it's difficult because you don't know where the RS or Arsenal would be now if they had not been bought out
