League of Ireland 2024

I've got tickets to that last game against Waterford. Must confess I've never watched a single minute of this league but thought I'd take in a game whilst I'm in Ireland.

You'll enjoy Tallaght stadium. Best in the league. Incredible finish to this league season and the last two sets of games are going to be gut wrenching for all the supporters of the four clubs still in with a shout.

Hand on heart, Rovers should not be this close after losing nine matches out of 34 but then the others have lost nearly as many.
The whole place stinks of piss.

In other news, Drogs confirmed for the relegation playoff, which in turn helps Shels out a lot next weekend

That brings earnings from our European tour to 4.4million. By winning four premier titles we earned 450,000 in total.

I am confident this money will be well invested in the future of this club. A bit like Everton really......😢

Would the hoops LB Honohan be worth a bid? They only signed him from Cork last season and he has looked excellent when I have seen him of late, tonight included.
There is talent in the LOI that Everton seems to ignore. Seamus being the one major exception in recent years.

I agree that Honohan merits consideration.

I have to laugh at the coverage from the loyalist Belfast Telegraph.Instead of concentrating on what happened on the pitch - 4-1 to Rovers btw - it is going on and on about some chants made by some Rovers fans and now that bastion of tolerance, David Jeffery is being given space to say Rovers fans should be banned from the away match at Chelsea.
Intolerance still reigns sadly in certain areas of the wee North.

Aww the poor cratures. Show them the game at Windsor Park of the bigotry dished out that night Ireland played them in the 94 World Cup Qualifier and tell em to shut their gobs.

On another note surely Rovers must be favourites now ahead of Shells to win the LOI?

Nah Shels just need a draw to win the title. Rovers are two points behind with one match to play. Happy for Duffer, a decent bloke.
