Hardest motm to choose in a while. Godfrey was animal. Great pace. Powerful. Good feet and does he love a slide tackle which he times to perfection with force. Mina was excellent. Slightly at fault with their goal but he was immense. He must have won every header and as usual comes forward with the ball. Really could be player of the season for me.
Doucoure was the box to box engine both offensively and defensively and was so important to our game yesterday. Gomes was also excellent. He has improved in recent months but last night he was controlling the game and seemed to look much quicker. He liked a physical challenge as well.

I dont know. Lucky dip.. godfrey.

Surprised you did get not woken up by the rage from thumping keyboards, in the dying minutes, Tom collecting the ball in midfield from their phase of play and being closed down by 4 or 5 Leeds players, Tom turns then draws them all in, lays the ball off to the back line, the collective fume was something.

I went for Doucoure, as he was the engine room. Gomes had a very good game as well, and Godfrey seems to have a good game every time he plays, he's a very promising player and one of the few we have who plays in the "modern" way, all pace and power, doesn't dive in or go off his feet very often.

Doucoure, Gomes, Godfrey and Mina were all absolutely brilliant last night.

Played for the team. Doucouré had his best game for us, so far.

Still, I felt even pre-game that was a game we'd be fancying our chances, Leeds played right into our hands, letting us sit back and soak up pressure before countering.

Great result, the only negative, is that we weren't allowed to be there.

Olsen pulled of some marvellous saves, the triple save was outstanding. Got to be the number 1 now.

I don’t get this marvellous saves bit. Olsen created the whole situation with a pass he shouldn’t have made. I’m no Pickford fan but in the same situation he would have been crucified on here.

Thought Sig did very well, not only a goal & an assist but it looked to me like he sat on Philips much of the game to stop them playing through him. Noticed Philips a lot in the home game but only a couple of times last night.
Should really give him MOM but as usual these days I went for Godfrey.
