How about we discuss that if he doesn't play tomorrow and Martinez states he's since found out he has a hamstring injury?!A minor pull is 1-3 weeks. Would you really want him rushed back?

Based on what?I never said we sacked him mate........... just think a more lucrative contract may have kept him.
I see you're handily forgetting the crippling injury crisis we had last year while he was still head doctor?Yup but Martinez likes doing things his way mate. We got rid of Danny Donachie (Wrong name I think) and he was head doctor. Now look @ us. Martinez is a shambles
point is, We have had 25 hammy injuries since Martinez has been here. All the fitness people are leaving because they either cba (Steve) or they don't agree with Martinez (danny)I see you're handily forgetting the crippling injury crisis we had last year while he was still head doctor?
It was Hamstrings-a-go-go when he was here, nothing has changed, except McCarthy isn't suffering with them anymore *touch wood*

Dowell and Robinson have also looked promising given they are both only 17.to show its swings and roundabouts...
kone and naismith are for me the 2 players who have come out of this pre season with the least credit.
but browning pennington and mcaleny have earnt a great deal of respect. for me mcaleny has been the player of pre season.
ive liked his goals , his desire and his movement every time he has played.

martinez insists the £28m striker has not suffered a hamstring problem as first feared but, instead, was experiencing muscle fatigue.
“We’ll assess him [ahead of the game against Villarreal],” he told evertontv. “I don’t think we’re going to take any risks with him on Sunday.
“I would say from a medical point of view, he is fully fit. It is just a case of making sure we give him a good introduction to work with the group because he’s not had a chance to do that yet.
“I wouldn’t risk him in a pre-season game - but Rom will be fully fit for the start of the season against Watford at home.”
or Bobby's kicked off because we've have had 25 hammy injuries since he's been here, and we're cycling through Physio's trying to find one that has a fecking clue what he's doing...point is, We have had 25 hammy injuries since Martinez has been here. But surely it is far more likely he was just homesick - he went back to the club that he left us for and from what I can tell is doing much the same job so money/promotion doesn't really seem to be the main driving factor.Based on my thoughts on a forum.
