Pienaar's gloves
Player Valuation: £35m
We were poor but it was the kids.
Oh well.
Oh well.
I know what you mean mate........ but we have managed to keep Howard here since 2007 and he I would think had more reason than most to be homesick after his separation. Just my own thoughts....... money talks. You may well be right...... I just think that we were a better team/squad mentally and physically when he was here. The league positions and injury list proves that to me.But surely it is far more likely he was just homesick - he went back to the club that he left us for and from what I can tell is doing much the same job so money/promition doesn't really seem to be the main driving factor.

I don't even know what he is saying.... "making sure we give him a good introduction to work with the group because he’s not had a chance to do that yet." - WHAT?!
lol That makes no sense at all, irrc Roms started several of the games and played the full 90 a couple of times!http://www.evertonfc.com/news/2015/08/01/rom-to-be-fit-for-watford

Robertos' kidology at its worst lollol That makes no sense at all, irrc Roms started several of the games and played the full 90 a couple of times!
Oh well, at least he seems to think he'll be OK for Watford whoch is the main thing.
Hand on heart, do you think he'll play tomorrow? How about we discuss that if he doesn't play tomorrow and Martinez states he's since found out he has a hamstring injury?!

Agree, Distin and Pienaar in particular seemd really close to him, and think it a very valid question to ask why we don't appear to have found a good replacement for him.I know what you mean mate........ but we have managed to keep Howard here since 2007 and he I would think had more reason than most to be homesick after his separation. Yeah you could be right................ I think we all get a bit twitchy this time of year.Let's see how we all are this time next week lolAgree, Distin and Pienaar in particular seemd really close to him, and think it a very valid question to ask why we don't appear to have found a good replacement for him.
Just don't think there is much point in blaming Everton for not keeping him specifically as that could be down to entirely personal reasons.
But surely it is far more likely he was just homesick - he went back to the club that he left us for and from what I can tell is doing much the same job so money/promotion doesn't really seem to be the main driving factor.
No, but think he'll start at Watford. Think Deulofeu, who definitely did pick up a mild hamstring injury, won't though as due his lack of games he'll be further behind in overall match fitness.Hand on heart, do you think he'll play tomorrow?
Thats a shame.Fair enough. But I think we all know we are desperately average with a limited squad. Also is only a training exercise. I have very low expectations for the coming season. I have learnt to enjoy other things these days
Yeah but seeking it out is WHAT WE DO............. AND TBF WE ARE ACE AT IT lolNo, but think he'll start at Watford. Think Deulofeu, who definitely did pick up a mild hamstring injury, won't though as due his lack of games he'll be further behind in overall match fitness.
But it is all speculation and we'll find out in time, just don't see much point in borrowing trouble - knowing Everton there will be plenty to worry over served up right on a plate so no need to actively seek it out![]()
