Leeds United

The fans have always been some of the most awful creatures around. They seem to fancy themselves as 'hard men from Yorkshire', cause trouble and get battered.

The players back from the time of Revie have been a slimey dirty cheating group.

When O'Leary was managing them and they had a good side playing in the champions league they seemed to have 'rebranded'...

Then Bowyer / Woodgate with the racist attack.

The fighting on the pitch...

Hope they get relegated. Same thing, different era.

Leeds.

I've always just felt they are another group of fans who think they are a lot bigger than they are. What is it 4 league titles? They've spent 16 years floating around between tiers 2 and 3 but go on as if they are some big shots.

Have a soft spot for Leeds, a couple of my friends support them which actually isn't unusual in Ireland
Me too. I actually went to game there back in the 90s Leeds vs Forest when Howard Wilkinson was the manager. It almost turned into a riot. They wanted him out big time... finished Leeds 1 Forest 3.

ROFL.....The collapse of Dan James move to Leeds is pure comedy.

Its painted as his ultimate dream move, and the shock of the football world, as the sad music plays over the top!!

Being in Leeds City centre on a home matchday is certainly an experience and frightening one.
They are truly a bunch of knuckle draggers who are out looking for aggro (a very 70's word is 'aggro'!).
I have seen it kick off big time just off because someone has had 'the wrong Yorkshire accent'.
They really are a very strange bunch and a nasty bunch at that. That said, the fans have stayed loyal
during the bad times and they will fill their away allocation at every game they play. They also genuinely
despise United which means they can't be totally bad!

Didnt even know he was off...what was the deal and why didnt it happen?

Thought he was alright at United when he first joined...

Everything about Leeds is bad mate.

Didnt mind that O'Leary side but their off field antics opened the truth up again.

Also every euro away game theres a serious injury...unsavoury fans.

I have a soft spot for Leeds too, it's called my ring piece.

Vulgar yet true.

This was before he joined Man U

He took a photo holding up a Leeds scarf, everybody was sure he would join them

Then he ditched them for Man U lol

I think it's covered in the Leeds amazon series

Ahh sorry though it was him leaving United. I know he was meant to join leeds, assumed they had come in for him again ;)

My old man is from Leeds and used to take me when I was a kid, thankfully even then my Grandad had me a true blue.
I clearly remember the highlights of my visits to Elland Road was the almost incessant fighting in the kop between the Leeds fans themselves then it would empty about 15 minutes before the end whilst they all waited outside the away end to give them a kicking.
Leeds is more of a rugby area IMO and the Leeds 'football' fans even to this day are too busy living up to their hooligan image to care too much what happens on the pitch.
