Mina and Godfrey are our best pairing in my opinion
CBs are all about partnerships and complementary qualities and Mina and Godfrey complement each other on the pitch

I haven't seen them play together much mate. I think Keane and Mina may be the best partnership we have, but Mina and Godfrey may be the best individually.

Leeds fan here. First of all, thanks for a great game, incredibly entertaining and I'm sure most of you will agree a fair result.

After 16 years out of the top flight, it makes a change to be playing a team who fills our away end. Over the last few years, it only gets filled 2 or 3 times a year; usually Sheff Wednesday but not always, local team Huddersfield, Sheff Utd, Boro perhaps, and thats it.

However, numbers don't always translate into great support, Wednesday are always very quiet (without their drum) whilst from memory Birmingham and Bristol City were decent vocal wise despite bringing less than 1,500.

Last week we was at Old Trafford, and it didn't surprise me that it took until their fourth goal until we heard a peep from them. Full of tourists and half and half scarfers, their support vocal wise was what I expected. However, when playing you I expected much better from an old school support who's fan base hasn't been diluted by tourists in the way much of the top six have.

I was nevertheless shocked at how poor your support was, for much of the game we heard barely nothing from you. When you scored your second you sung for five minutes and that was it. I notice a few of you have taken the time to come on here and praise your support. If you consider that support to be good yesterday, or even decent, what on earth do you consider to be poor support? Seriously you must have sung a handful of songs tops. Is this what the Premier League has become in our absence, completely sterile from the supporters?

Playing against a Premier League team was obviously a big deal for you, but it’s not a big deal for us, we’ve been doing it week in and week out for decades.

Give them a break mate. Obviously they are excited. After all in the history of the club they’ve spent half of their existence outside the top flight. Christ even Stoke and Sheff Utd have played more top flight games than them.

Just re watching the game.
Against a team that swarm all over you , put you under tremendous pressure with an incredibly hostile crowd I think we played well.
We tried to play decent football and created very good chances . With better finishing we would have won.
Not many teams will win at Elland Road.
Unfortunately I think Keane's position is becoming untenable in the short term.

Did you go to the league cup game a couple of seasons ago were we took over your place and would have filled the ground if you would have gave us more tickets. Never heard you sing a thing so please don’t let’s get into an about support. I was around in the 70’s and you lot wouldn’t even come to Goodison.

Most noticeable and positive thing is the players look to go backwards as a last resort.
Benitez has definitely made a massive difference in telling them to be more positive.

Just that one change makes it more enjoyable to watch.

Playing against Championship clubs for the last 16 years was no big deal for us either, but we still support our team vocally as loud as possible regardless of the opposition.

Are you saving your vocal chords for when you qualify for Europe then?

Took over Elland Road, you mean you sold the tickets you were given.

worst case scenario is 7th after gameweek 2 with brighton to play next away from home who are 3rd

we got a tasty completely not boring 0-0 result last time

lets hope we can improve on that result and have more than 1 shot on target this time

Watching game again... The ref was a proper homer! They were very physical with us and it was fine, as soon as we were it was a foul and especially in second half a yellow card.
Sorry Ivo, just not the case. The ref was ok, possibly even in Everton's favour.
Mina's aggression and feigning injury/fouls especially in the last 15 was not the performance I'd expect.
Richarlison was, well Richarlison, with his shithousing. Mostly useless.
We were just as physical, unfortunately the hurt 'em plan didn't work.
Gray, played well.
Good game, fair result.
I think Leeds are a club like us, good history, honest and underrated.

Oops, stand by for multiple abuse!!
:)

7,000 plus the ones in your end. The police stopped your club giving us more, so yes.
Enjoy your stay in prem but remember your fans are not always that loud, they are as quiet as the rest of us on occasions but no need to come on a rival forum and slag them off for being so.

Singing whacky songs for 90 mins is bad wool behaviour and wouldn’t be tolerated at Everton.

These Leeds fans seem to think unless you treat the match as a big stag do sing all daft songs and wave flags your support is [Poor language removed].

As someone mentioned earlier where was Leeds fans in the 70’s 80’s? Nowhere near Goodison.. alright smashing up the Likes of Bournemouth and places though ?
