Think Kean needs a spell in the reserves or whatever it’s called these days. Don’t put him on the bench get him playing to iron out his issues. He just seems to go into slow motion when pressed by opposing forwards. Just my opinion for what’s it’s worth. But I think a good team performance ?
I'm assuming you mean Keane not Kean.

We don't have a reserve team. We have an U23 team which is for developing players and occasionally used to give senior players an early run out when returning from long term injury.

With a player like Keane, who we know sometimes has confidence issues, lumping him in the U23s is quite possibly the worst way to deal with his current situation.

Just my opinion for what it's worth

Was there yesterday and thoroughly enjoyable game. Yes, would have nice to have taken all three points, but on balance was a close game.
Pretty sure if the second if the DCL chances went in then it'd been game over but he's not the best finisher.
Thought Alan was our best, followed closely by Gray. Keane is frustrating as he'll have a run if 10 or so really good games, followed by some issues, maybe time for Godfrey if fit.
Rocking atmosphere and I never thought I'd say it, but we are much more of a threat going forward with Benitez at the helm.

I've just watched the game. I think Keane played alright apart from getting caught flatfooted for their first goal (and he wasn't helped by the rest of our defence letting 3 Leeds players through on goal). DCL's "missed chances" were in fact only half chances having to be taken first time, and the keeper was lucky to sit on the ball as it went through his legs on one of them. He was in the right place for both chances which is his job.

Was Seamus booked for being Irish and over 30? I didn't see much wrong with his challenge.

Its a decent start, but lets not get too excited. We started last season looking like potential champions ffs, and look hw that turned out.

Having seen it a few times I think their second goal was ok. Struijk was not offside when the cross was delivered.

It takes a man to admit he's wrong.

Leeds fan here. First of all, thanks for a great game, incredibly entertaining and I'm sure most of you will agree a fair result.

After 16 years out of the top flight, it makes a change to be playing a team who fills our away end. Over the last few years, it only gets filled 2 or 3 times a year; usually Sheff Wednesday but not always, local team Huddersfield, Sheff Utd, Boro perhaps, and thats it.

However, numbers don't always translate into great support, Wednesday are always very quiet (without their drum) whilst from memory Birmingham and Bristol City were decent vocal wise despite bringing less than 1,500.

Last week we was at Old Trafford, and it didn't surprise me that it took until their fourth goal until we heard a peep from them. Full of tourists and half and half scarfers, their support vocal wise was what I expected. However, when playing you I expected much better from an old school support who's fan base hasn't been diluted by tourists in the way much of the top six have.

I was nevertheless shocked at how poor your support was, for much of the game we heard barely nothing from you. When you scored your second you sung for five minutes and that was it. I notice a few of you have taken the time to come on here and praise your support. If you consider that support to be good yesterday, or even decent, what on earth do you consider to be poor support? Seriously you must have sung a handful of songs tops. Is this what the Premier League has become in our absence, completely sterile from the supporters?

Thanks for the input. Now bye bye
