@COYBL25 Will know him I’m sure, I mean know of him.

I’ve met him professionally on numerous occasions mate, also his family lives just up the road from me.

He was a formidable court room lawyer and the person that you wanted to represent you in court if in trouble.

All said and done, he was a proper character and it’s unlikely there’ll ever been any one like him ever again.

A big part of Liverpool’s Pink Mafia too !!!

Just to clarify, if you pay the ticket price and any excess charge then you do not have to provide details to the rail staff - its as simple as that to be fair.

However, if they are reporting your for a civil action recovery (failure to pay as stated above), then you are obliged to provide them with your correct information.

You cannot be searched for any form of identification by the rail staff and they cannot, at that time, use the BTP to verify the name and address that you give.

Yet, it is important to note that providing false details is an offence so it's not as simple as giving them nonsense, as you are then opening up for a conviction!

If you point blank refuse to provide, then you're liable to be reported to the BTP who will intervene on their behalf and can legally ask you for your details...

... if you meet aspect one and two of the fail criteria: fail to produce ticket and to pay). They cannot request your details unless Fail 1 and 2 have been met.

If you get to Fail 3 and do not provide, then ultimately expect to be locked up. But, all three fail criteria must be met to be arrested and eventually prosecuted.

If you go straight to Fail Three without meeting one or two it's unlawful. Hope that helps.

What’s the protocol if they want to question you for getting your cock out on a train?
