No I mean a sort of hybrid of the two really.

So,

Pickford
Digne
Zouma
Keane
Kenny

Bernard
Gana
Siggurdsson
Richarlison
Walcott

Tosun

See, I want to see this team, I reckon its really exciting. Games like Leicester away at hardly ever win mainly imo because we don't set up to be more attacking than the home team. I think a team like that outscores every team outside the top six and even a couple inside. Yeah it lacks protection from the defence but what bloody protection do we get from our midfield anyway? We leak goals for fun.

I reckon he may drop cenk again though and go with richarlison up front. If cenk scored again v Soton he'd have kept his place.

Crap, just realised, he'll start Calvert-Lewin again won't he?

This is a must win in my eyes due to points we've dropped elsewhere. Leicester are a good side so it will be tough but we've a team there capable of getting the win if their heads are in it

Bloody hell I thought our forum was all doom and gloom and then I come on here and it’s even worse lol Both seem to have a Jekyll and Hyde squad and you’re never quite sure which one is going to show up on the day.

Under Puel we’ve tried to develop a more possession based style with varying success. We still have some players with the capabilities to play the quick counter attacking football but I wouldn’t say it’s our main/only strategy nowadays. We’re very suspect at the back still so I’d say you’ll have a good few chances to score.

Vardy is still the obvious danger man but James Maddison has started life in the premier league really well and is definitely one to watch. Also Nampalys Mendy has finally started to show why we signed him as a bit of a Kante mk2 (obviously nowhere near as good)

My prediction is a 2-1 win with Vardy getting both of ours and Walcott for you. He always scored against us. I really feel that if you attack us with pace you’ll cause us problems. I think Maguire and Morgan would much prefer to deal with Tosun than Calvert-Lewin and Walcott etc

Anyway, for those of you travelling down have a good day and good luck for the rest of the season

Just go at them

I just can't see Gylfi working in a two with Gana, @Groucho

We got torn to shreds by West Ham doing that, although I know we were pushing forward.

He's better nearer the goal, and while I'm looking forward to seeing Bernard play more, I don't think it should be at Gyfli's expense just yet.

I'd have no issue with it happening late in a game if we're pushing, but it does leave us exposed.

Gyfli simply doesn't have the pace to cover the wing and then get back, which is what a central midfielder has to do.

But, I would be keen to see Bernard play in a game like this where I think we'll have space on the counter.

It could be that this is a game where Richarlison moves central so we can get them in. If we're going to start DCL, then we might as well try Richarlison there.

@toffeejack Davies does offer some more protection than Gylfi, though.

How come Evans hasn't been playing, mate?

Classy defender.

I like Maguire but the World Cup has certainly seen him overhyped beyond belief.

He's always been decent on the ball - more than he was given credit for certainly - but his main fault for me is his tendency to switch off (saw it a lot v Liverpool).

As you said, pace against him is vital I think, purely because it gets your defence turned and we're a better counter-attacking side than we are a possession-based one.

Agree on Maddison, lad is very reminiscent of Barkley in 13/14.

outside liverpool leicester are my most hated team you know, hate everything about them
their small time fans, terrible stadium
the fact they ended up being the nations sweethearts winning the league despite simpson battering his bird at right back and vardy the racist up front

got family from there and they all jumped straight on the bandwagon when they won the league talked about it non stop then completely sacked going when things went bad

just hate them

so yeah hope we win

You hate them because you’re jealous they won the league, k.

It’s probably my age but with the proper motivation it only takes me a couple of seconds to think of reasons to hate any team . Whether it’s a grudge from years ago either on or off the park , something about the fans or the city , something to do with the manager or player behaviour even if they’ve left years ago .

Pickford
Kenny, Zouma, Keane, Digne
Davies, Gana
Walcott, Sigurdsson, Richarlison
Tosun

Is what I think it'll be. I'd prefer it if they threw Richarlison up top and put Bernard on the left but I cant see it happening. If that doesn't happen I'd rather DCL than Tosun.
