Leicester-The Worst Reigning Champions Ever?

I don't know why you expect to be doing better than you are, honestly.

I'm not being hard faced or facetious but if we take last season out of it, you're at the level you always have been when you get promoted.

Last season has warped everything, if you'd finished 15th last year and were in your position now you wouldn't be fuming.

I'd be more annoyed at your players than the manager and whoever the new fella is should get the ring leaders out of there asap.

I think you'll stay up, but that's only because there are worse sides than you this season, you're back at your level and that's fine, but you need to understand why fans of other clubs find your (again, not you personally) sense of entitlement bewildering.
But to me that makes no sense. Why would you 'take last season out of it'?

We had the opportunity to attract a better calibre of player due to our title win. Not world class players but certainly better than we could have before.

I agree, but if you think just because you won the league then you will be competing with the likes of United and Chelsea for players then you're mad.

The trouble is when you want to attract big name or high potential players then letting your best one go isn't a great way of proving your ambition.

But I've clearly just stated that I don't mean world class players so we wouldn't be competing with the likes of Chelsea or United. With all due respect we should've been competing with the likes of you and Southampton etc

Oh and Kante had a release clause

And there's a reason you couldn't, because you're not as big a club as Everton or Southampton, it's that simple.

I disagree mate, everybody is well aware it was an absolute miracle you won the league - a perfect storm happened and you benefitted, Ranieri had the setup and tactics spot on, everything that rat faced scrawny arrogant little cheating gimp went in the back of the net - the constant diving and penalties referees gave so they wouldn't burst the bubble, Chelsea players doing exactly what your lot have done this season, and the other usual suspects bottling it all at once.

Everyone knows Leicester are a yo-yo club, a miraculously lucky title win won't change that. Kante knew the score.

I still like Leicester and also dislike how people randomly started hating on them them because of last season, kopite behaviour. Hope you avoid relegation.

edit: lets not go down the my club is bigger than your club arguements, that should be reserved for the glory hunting idiots who frequent the daily mail comments section.

Yes because Kante is world class as I must have said 5 times already

I know mate, I'm not disputing that - and Kante isn't the sole reason you won the league, nor is Ranieri, or Vardy. It all came together perfectly along with everybody else bottling it.

Massive arrogance on the part of the players getting Ranieri sacked by the way. A class act and a gentleman lost his job because of your 'title winners'.

People are starting to dislike them because they are acting like entitled spoilt children. They won a league title (deservedly I may add) and now the players turn on the manager who bought it to them. Arrogant over indulged average players have got above their station. They have downed tools just like Chelsea players did with Mourinho.

I wanted them to stay up, now I want them to go down. That's not kopite behavior, that's people being angry at a lack of respect being shown to a manager who bought you the League title.

Football is a cut throat business, i imagine their board, players and many fans think they have a better chance of staying up with someone else in charge given their horrendous run of form. I think many other clubs would have done the same if in a similar position. It's really bad form in terms of 'morals' but I can understand the decision.
