Leicester-The Worst Reigning Champions Ever?

Well if we are a nothing no mark club ... in the last 20 odd years we have also won the league cup twice ... in that period Everton have won nothing so what does that make you ?

Don't think there's much of a difference..... These players have Ranieri to thank for their Premier league medal and their current bank balance...... To have forgotten all this is astonishing.....and they don't even have the balls to admit publicly what they've done..

Maybe they think Ranieri was not the reason they won the league, we might assume it was down to him but they are the only ones who could possibly know.

Not saying it's right but it seems be be OK for Chelsea and Utd to assert player power and even our own bunch with Martinez but because it's Leicester everyone wants them to get back in their box.

Not doubting he is a lovely guy but did not realise that we had shot Bambi and the Queen at the same time. Just a reminder of Claudio's recent managerial record :
Chelsea ... sacked 2004
Valencia ... sacked 2005
Parma ... sacked 2007
Juventus ... sacked 2009
Roma ... resigned 2011 after a dreadful run of results
Inter Milan ... sacked 2012
Greece ... sacked 2014
Us ... sacked 2017

I think it's pretty insulting to Leicester to think you should be relegated out of loyalty. It's not like he's been canned 5 games into the season, or for not delivering a 2nd title. You have been atrocious in the league and it's plain as day for all to see that if you had kept him you would have been relegated. You still might of course, but it's madness to allow relegation because of last season's incredible achievement.

I think if you were in 12th comfortably he'd be in a job. Though he over-performed beyond belief last season and delivered the unthinkable, this season he's failed to do what you originally got him in for -- to fight off relegation. And so he's been replaced, arguably quite late, given that any new manager now has no transfer windows to work in and finds you already in the bottom 3.

It's like saying Wigan are a bigger club than half the premier league because they won an fa cup not long ago,
By his logic Portsmouth, Birmingham, Wigan, Blackburn etc are bigger than us,

Look I never said we were a bigger club than Everton ... I was replying to Toffee Tim's assertion that we are a tin pot no mark club.
The table above shows at least we should be a premier league club. Also a lot of the clubs in the table had most of their success donkeys years ago , although Sunderland have won six titles ... five of them were before the start of the first World War !!! We have also been to four FA cup finals and were one of the top 3-4 clubs in the early Sixties. Arguably the two best goalkeepers ever to play for England in Peter Shilton and Gordon Banks started their careers at Leicester.

We see you Steve. We see you.

Pele played for the New York Cosmos. Are they a big club? Not sure that's relevant in how big a club is. It's like West Ham fans embarrassingly carping on about winning the World Cup.
