Lineker just being a bit hypocritical gets my goat ... when Ranieri was appointed he was one of the first pundits to voice his displeasure ... the word underwhelming was his headline comment .. now that he has been sacked he is balling his eyes out.

In terms of new manager think Shakespeare will probably get the gig to the end of the season ... probably won't save us from relegation but neither would have Ranieri
 

I don't see what the issue is here.Leicesters players believed their own hype after a freak title win when all of the major teams were off form and rebuilding.Ranieri couldn't stop the rot.Their in a relegation battle and i think the board had to do something to try and arrest the slide.Ranieri should have ridden off into the sunset last May.He should have known from there onwards that the only way was down for both him and Leicester.

Leicester striker Jamie Vardy says speculation that he was involved in manager Claudio Ranieri's dismissal is "untrue and extremely hurtful".

Ranieri was
sacked on Thursday, nine months after leading the club to the Premier League title.

Caretaker manager Craig Shakespeare previously denied a player revolt had led to Ranieri's dismissal.

"Claudio has and always will have my complete respect," Vardy said
