Leighton Baines & Marouane Fellaini Thread

Total crap but would laugh my head off if City snapped him up and left Moyes with no signings

If you think about it......it would make perfect sense from Citeh's POV.

Money means nowt to them but to nip in and blow United out the water to sign a player they desperately need would really deal a blow to one of their only rwo serious title rivals.

Go for it, Pellegrini.....(y)

Man City with Fellaini and Toure would be scary. I hope it's true too. They are way off our record of 9 league titles. And I don't want to see Moyes win things with Man Utd. £35m please.

I dont claim to be an expert but to me the whole things a soap opera and is basically this...

Moyes and Kenright are pals

Kenright talks about Man united as tho he is in ore of them and they are the promised land

this deal is done and the 'derisory bids' are just to cushion the blow when they finally are sold tomorrow. Moyes is going to try help his mate Kenright look like a great chairman who has really dug in and got everton a good price for our two best players.

and why tomorrow? because Kenright can make out we had know time to spend all the money on decent replacements so we spend a derisory fee on a McCarthy and the board pocket the rest. Oh! and sky make an entertaining program out of it too, not like they have a big say in the premiership or anything...

Face it lads there both going

I expect you to adjust your tin foil hat and come on here Tuesday and quote yourself when Baines is still an Everton player. ;)

Felli going to City and hanging Moyes out to dry while upping the transfer fee would be the stuff of legend.

Please god let it be so.

Foxy who used to post on kipper put this on facebook this morning

From Toffeeweb

Felli picks up his latest loyalty (?) bonus today at noon and is then free to sign for Manyou for £24.Whelan waiting at the door to collect his 55% (£13M)and hand over McCarthy.

Deal done days ago but held up by that bonus clause.

If this is true, whoever agreed that contract should never get work doing anything more complicated than colouring in by numbers ever again. Fortunately, I can't believe even Everton would be that financially clueless.
