Don't mind who he goes to, to be honest.

He has been professional all the way through this transfer window, and has also been commended by Howard for how he and Leighton have behaved. The only reason I see for him wanting to put the transfer request through is that we are stalling, so that we can buy someone before we sell him.

I think Spurs set a precedent with this, that's to say not being bullied into selling Bale before they'd brought the players they wanted in first. If Fellaini goes, I hope the players Martinez wants are arranged beforehand otherwise we're going to be badly ripped off and not just on McCarthy

Don't think we would be in for this Martins guy if Baines was staying, not unless maybe Oviedo is going out. How many left sided defenders do we actually need?
