Leighton Baines & Marouane Fellaini Thread

Hmm,well i'd be pleased with McCarthy and Fernando in.
So Martinez has pulled a rabbit out the hat with Fernando.
Where's the resident doom and gloom merchants today ?

Hadn't we best wait until 11pm before we start being happy with players we haven't even signed yet?

To be fair to LCAB, he said the day before Moyes was unveiled as utd. boss, that he would be back for Baines. And let's be honest, if Baines had kicked up a fuss, chances are he'd be a utd. player by now.

Roberto has "attended a work permit meeting" for Fernando - (McNulty, BBC) - makes a change from leaving things to Wood and Kenwright.

Wow! just in from work and gotta say thanks DAVIDMOYES. Can anyone tell me if he's posted in other threads? Or was it just his one golden post of: 'felli gone, baines stays, fernando signs'.

So it looks like Fernando will replace Fellaini if he goes, and McCarthy and Barry are coming anyway(all subject to agreement etc) Fernando not coming if Fellaini stays. Looks like Chebes won't be sold either, at least unless theres an offer improving on £6 million. If all that falls into place I think Martinez, given the circumstances, will have done very well. I also think that everyone available, including Velios, Chebes etc will get their chance at sometime. Losers may well be Osman and Gibson, one out of form and the other a sick note.

I hope we sign the deals for the Brazilian fella and McCarthy then just before 23:00 there is a massive power outage in the North West region and Fellaini's transfer falls through.

Kenwright has to remortage his house again and Fellaini stays with us, hehehehe

That man must have more mortgages on his house than he has inflicted upon our club.
