Leighton Baines & Marouane Fellaini Thread

More worried about Fellaini going and goals he can get.

We are struggling to score, so we'll let our top scorer last season go

If we don't get someone else in who can get goals, it'll be a long season

As a utd fan I find what Moyes has done and that clown Woodward pathetic, we should of had your lads in early on so we can move on and Martinez can do what he needs to, but no not davey boy. How he offers 28 million is beyond me both Fellaini and Baines are better then what we have clause should of been met and started at 18 million for baines. But dont worry dave has spoke and we peformed great apparently and he is happy with the squad. You lot deserve a medal for putting up with him so long, lets hope you kick on now.

Took a bit quicker than I thought it would, but there you go mate. You do not know the half of it either.

Enjoy the season.

Moyes is a ginger C**T who will probably get his own way in the end and get baines and feli but he's now shown his true colours and the mancs wont put up with his ****e the way we used to... He wont last long there and when he's sacked he will rue the day he ****ed us around...

In fairness Everton are a much bigger club and should of done better, thats no slight on you fans I never wanted Moyes as I always felt you should of been in europe via winning FA cups as a minimum. And the truth is he will be found out now, he has a massive ego that Moyes and I wouldnt be supprised if all this with Fellaini and Baines isn't to give Martinez a rough start to make himself look like some god. The fact is had the Money men at Citeh bought Everton would they have kept Davey? Not a chance. I have a feeling Kenwright has told him to do one and I look forward to the reception you give mr arrogant on his return to goodison and take Kagawa too Moyes is gonna ruin his career the man is shocking. I pray to god Martinez wins you something

Yep, that's pretty much it mate. Unfortunately, the media love in for Moyes blinded absolutely everyone to his glaring faults.

You'll sign some cracking players under Moyes; it's a shame he has no clue how to use them though. You're going to have to look forward to losing a very high ratio of important games until you sack him.

He's the perfect director of football, but a nightmare of a manager.

Back on topic, Baines stays lads. Take a step back and look at the situation logically and you'll see it too.

United won't bid enough money to allow Kenwright to justify the sale, and Baines isn't a lad who will kick off to force the move. It's that simple.

I'm 93.37654% certain Baines stays.

I'm 19.64646% certain Fellaini stays.

I don't understand why Kenwright does not force Fellaini to hand in a transfer request, if he really wants to leave.

Why? We've acted perfectly so far with this - no player has kicked off, no bid has come in to meet our valuation of the player, therefore the player is still contracted to Everton and starting every game.

We're perfectly happy to keep Fellaini if we have to and Fellaini is obviously happy to stay at Everton if United don't meet the valuation; if he was upset at us turning down £28m he'd have handed in a transfer request in an outrage.

There's been no quotes whatsoever from either Fellaini or Baines; it's been purely media speculation.

I don't really want to bear a grudge against Moyes, as I do appreciate the work he did at Everton, but if he gets Baines on the cheap I'll be furious.

Kenwright should have known something was up when Moyes stuck around to make sure his mate Osman got boxed off with a nice new contract, but showed no interest in sorting out an extension for Baines, who is only tied down for two more seasons.

Everton paying him £70k a week to put the groundwork in for a deal which rips the club off for its best player will be up there with the rest of this board's greatest hits if it ends up happening.
