Leighton Baines & Marouane Fellaini Thread

Fellaini has been great for us, this is a great move for him and us AS LONG AS THE MONEY IS RIGHT.

Good luck to him and the way I see it all he has just done is forgone his loyalty bonus, which only aids us.

Reckon that it's the club that have made him hand in the transfer request before he goes. Not only because of the bonuses but a little PR number so the club can make out that they're helpless and make fans think 'good riddance'

Fellaini isnt to blame, and neither is Kenwright. If we are getting more than his release fee was, the only clowns in this are Moyes and that new United CEO.

It's Kenwright's job to create a financial environment in which we attract and keep top players. A clown probably would have done a better job.

If the club have engineered him handing in a transfer request, it's a good thing, it means he ends up costing us less. I think it's been obvious for a while that he'd prefer to leave, why not make him hand in a request?

Fair play to the club, I'm pretty happy with the way this has been handled - yes it's frustrating that it's been left so late, but at least we're getting a decent price. It's in the interest of the selling club to leave it late like this - look at spurs and Bale.
