Leighton Baines & Marouane Fellaini Thread

The whole of modern football stinks.
Fellaini hasn't had a really dominant game for ages and is now trying to force through a move and our low media profile and badly financed board are doing nothing to change things.

Seriously if we have no concrete deals that will as Martinez stated 'make us stronger' then no deal.
United have behaved disgracefully for this entire calendar year towards this great institution and they should be told where to go in no uncertain circumstance.

Worst United performance in years at Anfield from Moyes' new club. No 'knives to a gunfight' excuses yesterday. he took a Bazooka and still got humbled.

We should be doing United NO favours!

What a truly awful window this will be if nothing happens...
The worst thing is that we only have about an hour left of excitement before the realisation of a truly mediocre team is real

we were never in for him anyway, just sky news going off on one.

so we've been expecting Fellaini to go all day - it gets delayed to the point where we can screw Man U for a couple of million (and save on Fellaini's share) - meanwhile a pretty good Fernando mysteriously changes his mind (despite a work permit meeting in London - presumably because we'd reached something close to an agreement with the player), we won't pay the asking price for JM from Wigan (in spite of the Fellaini money), we haggle with West Brom over a moderate player for the sake of half a million, meanwhile if he'd gone there's no way Lukaku would have been going there .. result Cheebs comes back and we miss out on 5 big ones.. and no-one's coming in??

So Bainesy lad - thanks for the loyalty and all that - but when you go to bed tonight you'll be thinking wtf have I stayed loyal to Everton for?

Apologies if a miracle happens in the next 75 minutes.

United unhappy with Everton over Fellaini fee
Where would we be without Everton today?! Sportsmail now understands that after being close to agreeing a £25million fee, United are now unhappy with the money the Toffees are demanding.
Talks continue between the clubs but it's getting a bit messy.

It's a business negotiation! Of course it's getting messy. I seriously think this has been a well-ochestrated negotiating tactic that Everton has played pretty well. Despite the negativity, I believe something will happen yet to come. And it appears now Everton are in a strong bargaining spot. Just my two cents.
