I can’t believe there is a conversation about baines.. he’s been a great servant to Everton fc.. he is just coming to the end of his career as all players do. He has been brilliant for us since he came here
People actually having a pop at someone like Baines is a joke. Man has served the club so well, he could have gone to United for a nice pay out and to win trophies but, unlike some microphone look a like belgian, he stuck with us!

a lot of our players suffer from debilitating bouts of homesickness, some have better coping mechanisms than others (eg when Tubby Ashley felt a bout coming on, he'd scoff down one or two full English breakfasts). But I'm surprised to hear Bainsey still gets homesick and I'm wondering whether you're misdiagnosing the symptoms. I think his demeanour might be less that of homesickness and more that of guilt at the part he and Capt Jags played in scheming Bobby's demise...
