2019/20 Leighton Baines.

Baines was in a bind: local, and desperate to keep his reputation as a loyal servant. He didn't push for the move but he certainly didn't need any excuse to carve up behind the scenes the manager he blamed for blocking his United move. His briefing the media against the manager was shameful. Martinez never deserved that and he manipulated the fans against him.

Unforgivable even for a legend that is, and he will never be one of those.
Martinez brought his down fall on himself with his failure to recognise that his methods were not working defensively. The fella couldve watched his own nan getting bummed and still wouldve said the word “phenomenal” if someone asked his opinion on it. Baines deserved a move more than the other primadonnas who have tried and suceeded in forcing through moves i.e lescott, rooney, saha, fellaini etc. I wouldnt have blamed him for leaving at the time.

This lad wow what a left back when he linked with pienaar they knew were each other would be without looking when placing a pass. This is the type of play our team needs to grasp again for us to progress knowing were your teammates are moving on the pitch without even having to look .well drilled with football brains.

To keep all those egos together and still become the most successful Belgian manager in that nation's history is an achievement.

Leighton Baines on the other hand made sure his ego is more important than the well being of the team.

An utter rat who stabbed his own team in the back while they were on the pitch playing.

Did you walk in on Baines finger picking stairway to heaven on your birds fanny mate? Never seen someone have so much hatred for a player that was easily one of our best players over the last 10 years.

Not sure I can take anything you say about Baines seriously though when you advocate bringing Ross Barkley, the biggest rat after Rooney and Barmby back.

I wish he would have left at the time too. Oviedo was as good as Baines and it'd have meant a disgruntled player was out of the dressing room.
