I just wish Martinez had worked with Ozzie when Ozzie was in his twenties...
Instead, he was left pretending to be something he wasn't - a right sided, box to box midfielder....

I didn't see the injury...didn't get the stream up until right after the first goal ffs.

What happened?

took out the arsenal player with a sliding tackle and got booked in the process. caught a knee to the eye though on impact. was probably a good thing having him go off with an early yellow to his name tbh.

Got to be honest I was made up that Barkley was coming on for him.

Not made up that he'd got injured early on, though. That's just a bit mean.

Not wanting to put a dampener on things but I generally like being an even-handed guy.

With that in mind, Everton are boss etc.... but seriously, Leon Osman stank the place out again today. Truly garbage. I know Barkley didn't do much either when he came on but the flow of the game was established at that point.

Surely today was his "Neville" moment and he shouldn't start again unless in dire need.

Again, a good squad player to have on hand but should only see the starting 11 in the event of injuries. Glad to have him in the squad.

I missed this challenge people are talking about, though, what happened?

I'm not surprised you missed it, as he didn't throw it! Dangerous position, edge of our box, utter shat out of the tackle like the lightweight clown he is.

And he done it again at the other end of the pitch too. Five or six utterly woeful individual moments of cack today. Did nothing right at all.

He had a poor game. My main gripe is certain posters have nothing good to say about him even when he clearly does have a good game or at least contributes positively, they jump on mistakes which will always blow things out of proportion.

Today we were lucky Ki finished poorly when he had a great chance. The reason he got that clear chance was mostly down to Barkley standing watching him instead of tracking him. Of course there was no comments jumping all over Ross for this in the way it happens for Osman.

I personally think it says a lot about your character if this takes a lot of your focus when you are watching your team, especially in such a great season for the club. Fuming foolishness.
