Osman is a good player, played out of position most of last season. I don't know that he will hang with the way Martinez wants to play. Certainly his good touch is valued in the center of the park, but they really need someone more athletic.

Funny the debate about Ozzie's shooting power. Bizzar that he'd struggle to hit one down Brownlow Hill yet comes up with the odd screamer. To that extent he reminds me of Colin Harvey. Suspect most of you are too young to remember, but Harvey was a top player with bandy legs who rarely hit one straight. If you were near the corner flag in Gwladys St or the Park End you were in danger, but Harvey scored a couple of goals that are entered in Everton folklore - famously in an FA Cup semi final and the winning game of the 1970 Championship season.
