I think what is really frustrating is that we seem to have better options then Leon, but for whatever reason Martinez chooses not to use them. He is impact player at best against a tiring team i.e. Villa away last season and United this season. He doesn't have the physical attributes to be a starter anymore. That is just an opinion and I never normally criticise an Everton player (well I did Naismith and boy has he proved me and many others wrong) but Leon at present is not deserving of a starting place in a side with aspirations of champions league football.

I'm not a big fan of his. Esp when he out wide. Not his fault he slow. But he was just bout alright today. Did give the ball away a bit. But if he is to get a game then it's against Burnley etc. He a squad player and can be used as such. He will be passed it next year anyway. Robert must see something in him that the majority of us don't see. So did mouse. That's why they have pro licence and we post on fourms

The lad wants to pick up the ball with 10 yards radius of space around him and then he wants time on the ball. Then when he doesn't get it he gets bullied off the ball and he flings his hands in the air. So frustrating, Pienaar although not in great form is a much better option. Pienaar is willing to pick the ball up in small spaces and is great at bringing the the best out of Baines.

how he lasted so long i will never know he was dreadful the whole game and looked so uninterested at times it was untrue. weve moved on from garbage like him get shut , if someone at least has a go i will always support them , ive never seen anyone so not arsed as he was today

he was alright today - but i think i may be basing it on alright for osman standards. he was shrugged off too easily tbh at times and was out of position, thought he was good linking play in attack though, which should be his only job as a 3rd choice ACM

Ok, don't hate me for this - I like Leon Osman.

He had the opportunity to run me over in his Audi once, and didn't. After we beat Chelsea Feb '12. Pienaar and Straq.

Anyway, I have a soft spot for Leon, and not because he spared my life. Mainly because he's been a loyal servant to the club. No, he's never been the world's best player and yes, he's lost his once amazing first touch. However he has done a job for us over previous years.

It galls me to see abuse he gets sometimes. I know he's frustrating and I agree he probably shouldn't be starting games but he doesn't deserve the abuse he gets from some quarters.

Let up on the guy.

If he had hit you and airbag had gone off, the weak little waster would still be in orbit
