I even miss how he would be so absorbed in doing stepovers that he would run out of room and the ball would either run out of play harmlessly or he'd manage an amazing cross across goal that none of our strikers could tap in because they had anticipated the cross about 3 minutes before.

Loved the lad and really hope he rejoins us but honestly surprised Lukaku didn't pick him up by his heels and bounce him on his head until he promised to look up and pass at a predictable time.

he got in to those positions though, when he made a mess of things, if they came off they were goal scoring opportunities, when Osman makes a mess, even if he gets it right it usually just a backwards pass in his own half, we miss having the little Spaniard as an option

Think we disagree on Osman's value to the team but at least we both agree that having Geri back would be great, frustrating as he could be. Now if only we could persuade Martinez, Barcelona and Deulofeu himself...
