His legs have gone.

He looks like he's running in cement compared with everyone around him.

Gives the ball away consistently.

Unfortunately we don't have any ambition whatsoever and will be playing him for years to come.

I love when people get confused over when to use the word "ambition" or "money".

You know what's ****ing funny?

When I watch a match and can predict with 100% certainty who's gonna get it on GOT afterwards.

Yeah, Osman had a poor match and a poor preseason. And yeah, I agree that he should be a dependable squad player at this point in his career.

However, I'm not gonna write him or any other Everton player off. FIrst, I've been supporting Everton long enough now to know that when I do that, it's a guarantee that the player will come back at some point with a blinder and make me look like an idiot.

Second, Osman has been with Everton his entire career and in my opinion, has earned my respect for how he's handled his career with us.

I'll tell you what, some Evertonians don't disappoint. The minute a player has a bad match, they're on here in full force, shouting from the mountaintops about. Well thank you Mr. GOT Poster. I sure as hell wouldn't have seen how poor the player was had you not pointed it out. I guarantee we're worse than many other clubs supporters in that respect and it's something that is downright embarrassing. You do understand what the term "supporter" means don't you?

You could make a list of Everton players on here that the "supporters" couldn't wait to lay into after each match.

Just gets old. Really, it does. Go ****ing support the ****e cause you sure as hell aren't "supporting" Everton.

People are going to express their opinions on here, it's an everton forum. What else would you expect? Osman is in a bad run of form. Pointing that out doesn't mean you should go and support someone else. People show their support at the game anyway, not on the Internet.

Peculiar statement there at the end...

He's useless but will have a good game against the likes of city then go crap again for another 3 4 games, the sad reality really is were stuck with him as we probs have no money to bring in a better replacement for him.

Fellani was at fault for our first goal but he could of easily have cost us the game late on how he lasted 90 mins is a disgrace!

You seem to be having a go at people for criticising a certain player or writing them off, yet after last seasons game at Reading you slated Coleman, going as far as to say he should never be allowed to start a game for the club again.

Doesn't really add up.

Cheap shot Bill.

If you think a player performing below expectations should not be criticised than so be it. If you don't agree that's cool, but telling us we are not supporting Everton for stating our opinion is comical.

GOT exists so we can express our views and debate our differences.

IMO Osman is being played out of position and as a result letting the team down.

Below is link to the 2nd Norwich goal. Watch the midfielder go past Osman. This is not a one off but an example of many I could pick out throughout both preseason and the game against Norwich, where his defending has let us down. Fortunately not every missed tackle, poor tracking back has led to a goal.

Not personal but also not setimantel. If Osman moving on at age 32 allows us to bring in player that adds more value to the squad, than so be it. Don't expect anyone to agree.

If someone's had a poor game they've had a poor game. Pointing that out doesn't mean you're not an Everton supporter.

Indeed, but all too often there are players which are used as scapegoats though.

I think Bill was referring to those who take it to the extreme, legitimate criticism on the other hand is perfectly fine.

I spent about a grand and a hell of a lot of time travelling and watching Everton last season, i 'support' the club more than you ever have or will.

Having said that, Osman was and has been utter crap in central midfield for a while. Doesn't make me any less of a fan for pointing that out.

People posting their opinions on a forum, what a novel idea eh.
