I haven a clue what your memory is like but anyway, after the Reading game you tore into Seamus saying "you didn't want to see him at right back again " either on the bench or on the wing. You seem to be very upset about people berating Osman when you have been guilty of it in the past yourself, just with different players.

How do you know that Evertonians are poor in terms of moaning about our players compared to other clubs, there could easily be far worse fans than ours without you knowing.

Twitter mate. Look into it.

Yeah, if Coleman had a ****e match then I said so. But did I say I never wanted him on the pitch again? Don't think so. Probably preferred him at right mid at the time, especially if Hibbert was healthy at that time.

But I'm pretty sure I've never said of any Everton player that I don't want to see them on the pitch ever again or in an Everton shirt ever again.

One thing that Evertonians don't get is that unlike many clubs, we aren't going to have world class players at every position. Everton relies on squad players who can play and play effectively. Osman (and other Everton players) have demonstrated this in the past. Yeah, sure, get rid of Osman. Then what? We'll get what for him and bring in who with those funds?

The part that gets me is that Osman was only playing (in my opinion) because Gibson was hurt. Will Osman start every match for Everton this season? I doubt it but if he does, I'd rather we get behind him, regardless of his form, than slate him every chance we get. Hey, I'd love to upgrade the position but we don't have the funds and unless RM can find upgrade on loan, we've got to play with what we have and not with what we wish we had.

That's just the reality of the situation.

The way I see it, Osman's never going to read GOT so it doesn't really matter whether you slate his performance, kiss his bollocks or call him a bulbous headed wool. As long as you get behind our players at the match it's sound.

EDIT: Just don't slate Conor Mc because he'll get upset.

I find I can get by without the use of twitter, and won't be using it or my time to find out how poor Evertonians are at providing support for for their players in relation to other clubs.

You said you never wanted to see him played in his natural position of right back again, thats a pretty damning indictment of a player if you ask me.

Well don't take my word for it.

And I think it's fair to say that while he isn't the finished article, h'e's improved in his "natural position" of right back.

Oh, and please find the posts in that thread where I stated that I wanted Coleman transferred so we could get the money to buy another right back, or that I never wanted to see him in an Everton shirt again, or....

You get the picture?

I just don't understand how you can get all ratty about ****ging off Osmans performance when you yourself have quite clearly been guilty of this in the past, fair enough, you didn't say never to play for the club again, but i'd say asking for a right back not to be played right back is damn well close enough. So my point still stands.

Don't know what your on about at all with regards the transfer, or with the words natural position in your post, do you not think its right back?

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, lids, but he signed a new contract in the summer; he's not going anywhere

Still a decent player for me, far too many here jumping on another bandwagon when I bet many of you haven't seen him in the flesh for years. I watched that Norwich game, I remember one crucial tackle he made on the edge of our box that saved worse case scenario a goal or at the very least a shot. It's easy to pic holes in players you don't like and ignore the bits that completely contradict your opinions. Get behind the lad ffs

Aye was a good last ditch tackle that was, now who was the bloke who 15y further up-field got breezed past meaning Osman had to chase back to make that last ditch tackle again...

I think Osman is too lightweight to be a real defensive eep lying midfielder...... that said... if he was played as a number 10 type player behind a lone striker he has clever enough feet to be effective.
