Leon's days are numbered...the soundbytes coming from Martinez in the last two days tells me that Barry will start next to either McCarthy or Gibson against Chelsea, Ross in front of those two, and I think he will start Kone up front...no place left for Leon except a on the bench...

Not a bad thing really, as he has been poor this season...

I'm worried that he will drop Barkley for Osman.

i think osman might still play with one of barry, mcarthy,gibson...i think martinez has shown this early he doesnt want to disturb things too much, eg - jelavic playing, same formation, jags and distin at the back

we will see i guess, hope im wrong!

Mr Moyes would almost certainly have done this particularly for a game against the likes of Chelsea, can't see Martinez doing it though! Also bear in mind that if Moyes was still in charge Barkley would probably still be warming the bench at best.

Think Osman's toys may be coming out of the pram slightly cos its smacked him right between the eyes that he's no longer guaranteed a game irrespective of how poor he has been for over 12 months now! If everyone is fit and available I think he'll even struggle to get on the bench.

I for one can't wait to see how Martinez sets the team up over the next few games, particularly when Lukaku is available!

If you ever get the chance to ask a coach from everton in person, then please do. I think they'd tell you they do.

Obviously they would. They probably do, and I'm not saying the world hates Martinez, but players and coaches are unlikely to tell random people or others working in the club that they don't rate the new manager are they?

I know I'm sure they are, just passing on what I've heard about Osman, and I haven't been told he doesn't like him as a man.

Wouldn't be an enormous surprise if a few of the older players are resistant to change, especially if they've been playing at the limit of their talent for a decade.

Ossie can probably see his first team exposure diminishing over the next year or two.

There were two consecutive games against Stoke and Arsenal in December 2011 where we didn't muster a shot on target and lost both, this was under the management of the apparent living re-incarnation of Nigel Clough himself...who lest we forget now manages the biggest team in the country.

I'm really sure the players aren't kicking up a fuss about what's happening now.

Although Ossie has never struck me as the kind of fella if he's walking around Finch Farm thinking he's Bertie Big Bollocks and turning in performances like he has been he can f*cking swivel, the domehead.
