Yeah me too. It was so obvious on TV how much he was struggling from early in the second half. It was also very obvious an equalizer was coming unless a change or two was made.

Was wondering were both them things obvious to the fans who were there watching live???

think it was just a lack of options from the bench mate. I'm sure Geads would have been on earlier if match fit. Bobby's shown in the past to be able to make changes early when the game turns.

This feller has Mioyes era written all over him. He's a man out of time. I really dont like his attitude either; he comes across as very 'un-arsed' about things.

I hope he enjoys playing Championship footy, because that's where he's headed next season.

Can't say I've noticed that mate. He was an albatross last night though.

With Barkley out I think I'd rather see Naismith playing behind Lukaku. At least he'd win the occasional header and put himself about. Osman is far too lightweight for the role.

Yeh mate that's what I thought but if we're short surely we have to buy now and not Wait till the summer. alls you get out of bobby boy is well we have lost kone and Gibson so were looking for somone short term kone is sh*te and Gibson you will be lucky to get a full season out of him anyway

What I dont get is that only an idiot cant see Osman is only good for 20 minutes off the bench against tiring teams. He's literally a hindrance rather than even being a neutral force out there when played from the off.

Now we know Martinez is far from being an idiot, so why is he not seeing this after observing it for a good few matches? Anyone else in there would do a better job (I'd have even thrown someone like Stones in because I'm 100% sure he'd have been a better bet than Osman to retain possession and find feet).

I think he has a lot of influence off field with other players and I wonder if Martinez is reluctant to wield the axe and have him exclusively as a bench warmer.

He wont be here next season, IMO. Martinez will have that situation sorted out once and for all, I feel.

Naismith should be playing ahead of him. He's fitter, stronger, faster and is very strong in the air. He's a limited footballer, but still would offer more than Osman in a starting role. For a late 20 minute burst, Osman is still useful. But he can't start.

Naismith and Osman should be playing at Blackpool not in a squad chasing top four.

Osman has been and still is boss. A few bad preformances does not suddenly make him a bad player. I admit I wanted to slap him last night ,but he wasn´t the only one.He needs a rest like the rest of the squad based on last night. I think as soon as Barkleys back he will start from the bench.

Didn't they just have 9 days off in the sun?

Also, he's by no means boss. A decent squad player at best.

It's just wrong he's started so many games for us (18). Ok we had Gibson out early, but this should have been top priority in the window to strengthen in this area, even more than up front in fact (and we do need it up there too).

Time to hang up his boots me thinks. Not got the attributes needed for a top prem midfielder. Thanks for years of loyal service etc etc, but time to shuffle off to the back room staff at FF.
