No of course not, but he wasn't good enough to be prioritized to his favoured position, I don't really think he was good enough to fill in on the wing, but needs must

I spent most of Moyes' years with us wondering if we'd benefit from Osman replacing Cahill behind the striker. THERE I SAID IT.

He had a similar goal threat and better feet. He was immense in the latter half of the 2010/11 season when Cahill was injured.
